Warranty Psychology 101
Consumers don't read warranty fine print. They read the number. 5 years = they'll be back. 10 years = maybe it's decent. 30 years = someone bet their company on this product. The number is the signal. Everything else is noise.
What to Say
Don't say 'lifetime warranty.' Every gutter guard company says 'lifetime warranty' and means 'lifetime of the product, prorated after year 3, doesn't cover anything you'd actually claim.' Say '30-year material warranty. If the aluminum fails, we replace it. No proration. No weasel words.'
The Close
'Your house will be here in 30 years. So will your gutters will be. The only question is whether you want to clean them every fall. We made a product that answers that question permanently.'
